'The Flash' Season 1 Episode 18 'All Star Team Up' Review

Non Spoiler Review- Another exciting episode of 'The Flash' that continues to demonstrate the benefits of an interconnected TV-universe, has some hilarious lines of dialogue, and great character and plot development.

Highlights of the episode    

1. Cisco remembers his death- A surprising twist of the episode was when Cisco suddenly envisions his death in the previous timeline that are triggered by words that were spoken to him by Harrison Wells, etc. I'm very interested in learning how Cisco retained these memories and if there are any more implications to Barry traveling through time.

2. Barry lets Cisco and Caitlin in on his theory- Barry seems conflicted on whether he can trust Caitlyn and Cisco throughout the episode and ultimately lets them in on his theory that Dr. wells and Reverse Flash are the same person and Cisco tells everyone about the visions he has experienced. It appears as thought they will confront Wells soon and go head to head with Reverse Flash once again. 

3. Atom and Flash team-up- Barry and Ray team up to take out he Bug-eyed Bandit but are never in the same place costumed together so I couldn't get a shot of them both suited up unfortunately. I did enjoy seeing the two work and interact together and hope to see more superhero teamups in the future. I found Ray and Cisco's bromance and love of naming metahumans, and science to be very amusing.

4. Flash helps the CCPD- The beginning of the episode features a very fun scene that has Barry, Joe and Eddie working together and taking down several criminals. I enjoyed this because it was hilarious and light hearted and it was cool to See them take down several criminals in minutes.

5. "It's a bird, It's a plane..."- The episode makes a 'Superman' reference in the beginning when Ray Palmer flies in saying "'It's a bird!' 'It's a plane!' No, It's my boyfriend!'" I found this hilarious and thought it was nice to make a nod to Brandon Routh previously playing Superman in 'Superman Returns'.

6. Eddie and Iris have some issues- Iris gets the feeling Eddie is hiding something and he is ; the Flash's identity. Iris is troubled by this and tells Eddie he should be honest with her or she will break up with him. I feel like this will put Barry in an awkward position because Eddie may blame Barry for what has happens. I also found the line "So everyone knows but Iris" to be hilarious because it's true that everyone on the show seems to know Barry' identity but Iris.
