'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 2 Episode 4 'Face My Enemy' Review

Non Spoiler Review- This weeks episode seemed very similar to something that would be seen on Mission Impossible with a mission that requires stealth and cool spy gear. This episode may not be the best of the season but it was a good episode nonetheless. It was nice to see a lighter atmosphere that wasn't present in the previous episodes this season. We also get more character development and cool action scenes which is always a plus. Overall, a decent episode but not a step in the wrong direction.

*******There will be Spoilers from this point on*******

Highlights of the episode

1. Fits saves the day- It's nice to finally see Fitz recognized as a normal person after the events of this episode where Fitz helps to stop the Bus from exploding. Lance Hunter seems to recognize Fitz as a peer now instead of the guy that is awkwardly off to the side so I can't wait to see if Fitz condition improves.

 2. May vs May-  This was an awesome fight scene between Agent May and a brainwashed Agent 33 disguised as Agent May. I can't wait to see more fight scenes as interesting as this one in the show.
 3. Return of familiar spy tech- One of the benefits of being connected to Marvel's Cinematic Universe is that the TV show can borrow a few things from the films and vice-versa. You may remember this mask from 'Captain America The Winter Soldier' when Black Widow is disguised as the council woman. I was glad to see that this spy technology is back and can't wait to see why else crosses over from the films.
4. Hydra's Ops team- It was interesting to see that Hydra and Shield share common goals and desire similar things like understanding the alien symbols and it was interesting to see Hydra under go a secret mission similar to Shield's.
5. May and Coulson in the field together- It was nice to finally see Coulson on a mission this season he seems to remain hidden in the base and his office a lot so far. It was also nice to see his interaction with Agent May which is always enjoyable to watch.
