'The Flash' Season 1 Episode 22 'Rogue Air' Review

Non Spoiler Review- Another exciting episode of 'The Flash' that has plenty of great action and team-ups. I hope to see more team-ups like this in future episodes.

Highlights of the episode  

1. Mini-Justice League- This was perhaps one of the coolest moments of 'The Flash' ever with three of the CW's superheroes onscreen fighting together like a mini Justice League. Unfortunately the fight was brief but it was very awesome to see them onscreen together. I can't wait to see something like this but on a larger scale with more heroes from 'Arrow' and the new spin-off 'Legends of Tomorrow'. Despite a brief fight between these three and the Reverse Flash it wa sone of the coolest sequences on 'The Flash' ever. 

2. Cold betrays Barry- Captain Cold uses Barry in this episode promising to help transport metahumans to a plane which will take them to Lian-Yu in exchange for all files on Snart erased. The Flash holds up his end of the bargain but unfortunately Snart doesn't as he frees the metahumans for them to join his Rogues. I liked this because it expands Snart's group to even include metahumans and I can't wait to see Flash fight them all. 

3. Metahumans escape- As I spoke off earlier all the metahumans escape and we get to see all of them utilize their powers onscreen together and Team Flash scramble to try to contain them again. I can't wait to see them all working with Snart on the rogue's and to see if they return in Season 2. 

4. Eddie Thawne is found- Eddie Thawne is finally found in the pipeline so Wells was hiding right under their noses and piecing together his grand plan. You can really tell that Thawne did some real damage to his ancestor and Eddie is certainly not the same man he was prior to his capture given that he is worried about his fate, etc. 

5. Captain Cold and Barry make a deal- As I said earlier, it was interesting to see Barry resort to making a deal with Snart but we learn that Snart has kept Barry's identity a secret since his sister is unaware despite asking Cold. I think this shows the complicated relationship between Barry and Snart that I look forward toi see developed onscreen. 

6. Reverse Flash uses his ring- In this episode on the final fight I spoke of we finally see Eobard Thawne use his flash ring that contains the costumes. I really liked the visual effects used for the suit to expand out of the ring and Thawne speeding into the suit ibn slo-mo. I wonder if Cisco can reverse engineer one for Barry for maybe Season 2.
