Non Spoiler Overview- This episode had everything that I love about 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' it had well adapted comic book character/references, action, reveals, and an interesting storyline. It managed to further the subplots about Skye and Coulson as well as continue the story from last week's episode. This is definitely one of the best episodes, if not the best episode so far. But I'm positive next weeks episode will be even better.
*******There will be Spoilers from this point on*******
Highlights of the episode
1. Coulson's team gets the cloaking working- There was another awesome scene at the end of the episode where Coulson confronts Talbot and Talbot says Coulson was brave to come alone and the Bus and the stolen Quinjet are then uncloaked so Fitz and Mack finished reverse engineering the cloaking technology. This means the team can travel easier without having to worry about Talbot.
2. Coulson's carving for May- While it didn't answer any questions this scene revealed that May knows about Coulson's carvings and encourages him to continue while taking pictures. I'm glad the show is taking it's time to answer the question of what happened to Coulson. I'm very curious in what is going on.
3. Raina is special- Towards the end of the episode after Raina steals the Obelisk, she returns to wherever Skye's father is located and he asks her to pick it up. She does so and is not affected at all. I'm curious if this means she is Kree or Inhuman but I'm sure it will be explained and I think Skye and her father also are either Kree or Inhuman. I was also refreshed to finally see Skye's father and can't wait to find out more about him.
4. Coulson takes down the Absorbing Man- I couldn't find a picture but the scene where Coulson brings down Creel is pretty awesome and I didn't expect Coulson to go in the field. I'm also glad that Lance Hunter is now officially part of S.H.I.E.L.D. although I feel he's doing it to honor Hartley.
5. Fitz makes a friend- I'm glad Fitz is no longer as distant and has someone to talk to that kinda understands him and can help him when he is trying to explain something, etc.
