'The Flash Season 1 Episode 7 'Power Outage' Review

Non Spoiler Review- One of the best episodes so far that increases the stakes by taking away the Flash's powers and introducing a villain to 'The Flash' who was previously seen on 'Arrow', it also manages to explore more of the Harrison Wells mystery and develop characters further.

Highlights of the episode

1. Flash gets his powers back- It was pretty cool to see the Speed Force returned to the Flash at the end of the episode and I was glad Flash got his powers back!

2. Girder sacrifices himself- The metahuman, Girder, from last weeks episode redeems himself by sacrificing himself for Barry after Harrison Wells promises him his freedom in exchange for some assistance dealing with Blackout. Unfortunately,both are killed so now only of the metahumans Barry has encountered is alive. I hope the show stops killing off villains or they will run out of them. 

3. Harrison wells collects Blackout's blood- At the very end of the episode we see Dr. Wells collect a blood sample from Blackout. I wonder what he is saving it for, I'm guessing to take away any metahuman powers that endanger Barry's future. 

4. The Return of Clock King- It was awesome to see the Clock King back because he was one of my favorite villains on 'Arrow' other than Deathstroke and the Suicide Squad. But it was cool to see another character cross over to 'The Flash' fro  'Arrow'. i thought that the Clock King was dead but I'm glad that he isn't because he is a more interesting villain. We know he is more crazy and has a larger obsession with time than the last time we saw him. I hope to see the villain return in a future episode of 'The Flash' or 'Arrow'

5. We learn more about Dr. Wells- We now know that Dr. Wells has an AI called Gideon in his futuristic room and is logging what Barry does and is invested in Barry's future for some reason. i read an article that speculates on his identity and I think this supports that theory. I'm interested in learning more about Dr. Harrison Wells in the future of the show.
